Vezt allows artists to sell the rights to a percentage of their owned Master or Publishing rights.
Master Rights (a.k.a. Recording Rights)
Master Rights refer to the literal recording of the song and its sounds and typically belong to the party that financed the recording i.e. the record label or artist.
Publishing Rights refer to the ownership of a song’s composition. Typically this is the author / authors of the record.
To offer your music for an ISO you must own a portion of the Publishing Rights or Master Rights (recording). If there are any "samples" in your music that are taken from other recordings, you would need to obtain permission from the artist or copyright owner in order to be able to legally go forward with the licensing, or face risk of litigation later on.
Note: Unless you have paid to license them or have express written permission from the owner, songs with samples in any part of their production may not be offered for ISOs. In our context, "Sample" means any portion of a composition, video or song used in your own production.
